After nearly three years in college as a visual artist I now face a dilemma. When was the last time I produced art on my own? Over a year ago? I have strictly worked on art projects and have not been sketching, drawing or creating anything. Considering that I have no motivation to produce art, I have made the decision to switch majors. I think I'm due for a new journal. So I started school, part time, taking Mythology, Portfolio Development and Printmaking again (which reminds me I have to write up a "syllabus" for my independent study. I GOT MORE RATS! About two weeks ago some guy from an animal shelter/hospital came into my store and asked if I knew anyone who would take in rats. Someone had dropped off 20 rats, 7 young girls, 3 young boys, a mommy rat and 9 new, one day old babies. I gave him some rat contacts and also picked up two little girls.
